First Friday Linz invites you to shop, feast and marvel from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.! In this new series of events, every first Friday of the month becomes a special evening with an atmospheric ambience, live music, culinary highlights and pure joie de vivre. Shops, restaurants and creative minds stay open longer, show themselves at their best in the monthly theme and make Linz a meeting place for connoisseurs, flâneurs and explorers. Every Friday has a special theme, which turns a visit to Linz into a real shopping experience with coordinated decorations and an attractive supporting programme. The anticipation is growing! Under the motto ‘Art & Sound’, our old town will once again be transformed into a large stage on 5 September 2025. Rousing performer shows, artists on the streets, dance and music will fill the alleys and create an experience for all the senses. Guests can look forward to extended opening hours, colourful decorations and an atmosphere that makes art visible and sound tangible. It is already noticeable: Linz is alive, Linz is sounding, Linz is becoming colourful. Together with all business people, we are once again sending a strong signal for cohesion and for the colourful city of Linz.
