Führung Alter Friedhof
Julius-Remy-Straße, 56564 Neuwied
Opened in 1783 as the first urban, interdenominational cemetery, it has preserved numerous historically significant monuments. Well-known families from Neuwied have found their final resting places here, such as Siegert, Remy, Gaddum, Reinhardt, Bianchi, Buchholtz, and Ingenohl. Among them are many individuals who have gained significance beyond the region.
During a tour lasting approximately 1.5 hours, these families, as well as the diverse symbolism of their gravestones, will be discussed in detail.
