Kostenloser Elternkurs „KESS-erziehen“ im
Wilhelmstraße 59, 56112 Lahnstein
Parents and other educators are frequently faced with situations in everyday life where it is not easy to find the right reaction. The course "KESS-parenting" at the Youth Culture Center Lahnstein (JUKZ) aims to provide support and increase confidence for everyday parenting.
Over three sessions, topics include the basic needs of children and what they need for healthy development. Challenging behavior, appropriate reactions, and a respectful way of interacting with one another will also be addressed. Furthermore, the course focuses on setting clear boundaries and consistently and value-oriented resolving conflicts.
The course is led by Silvia Kilian, certified KESS course instructor and systemic coach, as well as Christiane Stadtfeld, also a certified KESS course instructor.
The offering is a collaboration of the Youth Culture Center Lahnstein, the Catholic Family Education Center Westerwald/Rhein-Lahn, and the Child Welfare and Child Health Network Office of the Rhein-Lahn District Administration. Thanks to funding from the Lotto Foundation, the course can be offered free of charge.
The dates are on November 6, 13, and 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Since the number of participants is limited, early registration is requested at the JUKZ at 02621 914-602 as well as via email at jukz@lahnstein.de.
