In the second week of Advent, people gather for Advent singing at the State Music Academy. The course ends with a final concert, where visitors are also invited to sing along.

It has become a tradition that in December, people who enjoy singing meet at the State Music Academy to sing old and new Advent and Christmas carols under the guidance of the experienced choir leader Willi Becker. The Christmas season has been enriched with songs in European cultural history more generously than any other time of year. This course, which has attracted particularly many interested participants this year, concludes, as in previous years, with a public presentation of what has been learned, where concert attendees are also invited to sing along.
