The Corona pandemic forces people into isolation. In this extraordinary situation, Lore returns to the small town of Erkelenz in North Rhine-Westphalia – the death of her mother brings her back to a home that has become foreign to her. Caught between rigid family expectations and cumbersome bureaucratic procedures, she searches for a way to cope with the loss. The farewell is difficult, memories resurface, while everyday life leaves little room for appropriate mourning.
