From 09.11.2025 until the 23.11.2025
Stadtführung - Auf den Spuren des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Lahnstein
Salhofplatz 3, 56112 Lahnstein
This city tour leads to the still visible relics of World War II: hidden bunker facilities, traces of bomb hits on facades, and buildings marked by destruction. Historical photos and plans vividly reveal what the city looked like before and during the war years and what has irrevocably changed. The tour is complemented by a selection of moving original objects – from air raid equipment to bomb and shell fragments – that make the horrors of that time tangible and serve as a poignant reminder.
The tour is about 2 km long and can be conducted barrier-free upon request (except in indoor areas). The tour will be given by Michael Eisenbarth.
