On March 20, it is "World Happiness Day": With Prof. Dr. Karlheinz Ruckriegel, one of the most renowned happiness researchers in Germany, will be a guest at the Kulturhaus Oberwesel that evening at 7 PM. As part of "Kulturhaus im Gespräch," he will explore the question: "What really matters in life."
What are our happiness factors?
What is "happiness" and how is it measured? What are our "happiness factors," what does happiness mean to us individually, and what significance do material issues like economic growth and politics have? What role do jobs and employers play in this? And: Can we learn to be happy?
The speaker will address these and many other questions and examine the topic from different perspectives. Professor Karlheinz Ruckriegel is a trained economist and has been scientifically engaged in interdisciplinary happiness research since 1995, among other topics. He is considered one of the most significant researchers in this field.
Happiness researcher in high demand
The sought-after speaker advises numerous companies, organizations, and politicians on how they can implement insights from interdisciplinary happiness research. He speaks at conferences, gives TV interviews, and writes essays and guest contributions.
On "World Happiness Day" on March 20, 2026, at 7 PM, he will be a guest at the Kulturhaus Oberwesel. Following his lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and exchange.
