Hiking

in the Valley of the Loreley

An Eldorado for hikers.

Whether Rheinsteig, RheinBurgenWeg or Premium circular trails - hiking enthusiasts are spoilt for choice.

With a total length of 320 km, the Rheinsteig trail leads from Wiesbaden through the Rheingau and the entire valley of the Middle Rhine to Bonn and the Siebengebirge in the north. Fantastic postcard views of the twists and turns of the rocky Rhine valley, coupled with the romance of castles and inviting village silhouettes. Certainly a challenging trail that rightly bears its name "Steig".

One of the most beautiful tours in the Loreley valley is the RheinBurgenWeg, which runs along the left bank of the Rhine from Bingen to Remagen-Rolandseck. Here, the former knights' residences and fortifications are the highlights of this culturally and technically demanding hiking tour. There are always new battlements and towers waiting around the next bend in the Rhine.

The versatile Premium circular trails offer pure hiking pleasure. The paths lead through dense forests and steep vineyards, over high plateaus and wide meadows, and present spectacular views of the Rhine Valley. Whether half-day or day tour, sporty demanding or relaxed pleasure hiking - with a trail length between 5 and 20 km, everyone will find the ideal route.
