Weingut Philipps Mühle
Gründelbach 49, 56329 St. Goar
The tradition of the old grain mill meets the modernity of the new winery. We, the two young winemakers Martin and Thomas Philipps, have made it our goal to put a stop to the decline in land on the Middle Rhine, to recultivate fallow land, to preserve existing vineyards and thus to make a contribution to the preservation of the cultural landscape. 75% Riesling, 10% Müller-Thurgau and white, Pinot Noir and red Riesling wines grow on 6 hectares of predominantly Devonian slate on the steep slope. The wines, characterized by minerality and fruit aromas, develop through quality-oriented work in the vineyard and then gentle grape processing and fermentation.
