Anna Fedorova, who needs playing the piano to live as much as she needs air to breathe, immediately recognized the plight of musically gifted children in her homeland after the Russian invasion of Ukraine and developed a fantastic solution for these children. Together with her husband Nicholas Schwartz, she founded the DAVIDSBÜNDLER Music Academy in The Hague, which aims to provide a home for highly talented Ukrainian children where they can continue to be taught and supported according to their abilities. In a very short time, Anna Fedorova has managed, solely through donations, to provide the children with scholarships and host families.

IMUKO 2025 presents some of the young, already award-winning pianists who are already remarkable little artist personalities today, mastering piano playing in an astonishing way and possessing musical maturity that far exceeds their age. Just as concert-goers at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam will be astonished by these young artists, so will you. Before the evening concert with Anna Fedorova and Benedict Kloeckner, there will be an opportunity to chat with the young Rising Stars over coffee and cake.
